In October, 1926 and February, March of 1927, workers in Shanghai has held three armed uprising,which in response to the Northern Expedition, to overthrow the warlords and reactionary rule of the government, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
Because the conditions are premature and lacking of experience, the first two armed uprising were failed. However, the third armed uprising was fully prepared and carefully planned, thus it has given a heavy blow to the reactionary rule of imperialism and the warlords.
